Christina Smith

With an Emmy award for King,
and Oscar nominations for Hook and Schindler’s List to
her credits, Ms. Smith is an experienced department head. Her extensive film experience also includes Lost World, Jurassic Park, Steel Magnolias, Black Rain, Paper Chase, Personal Best, Silent Movie, Out on a Limb, Firefox, Congo, Caspar, New York New York, Lucky Lady and Cabaret.

Marietta Carter-Narcisse
For the past three years,Ms. Carter-Narcisse has served as the sole Make-up artist for Samuel Jackson, and as Creative Director of the Interface Beauty Advisory Board for Interface® Cosmetics. Her experience also includes “first” Make-up artist for Whoopie Goldberg, Angela Bassett, Diana Ross, Ellen Barkin, Denzel Washington, Woody Harrelson, and Laurence Fishburne. Her film credits include Malcom X, Ghost, 187, A Time to Kill, Sphere, Boyz in the Hood, Jackie Brown and Eve’s Bayou.

Jill Rockow
Graduated from Joe Blasco Make-up Center in April 1979. Since then, she has worked on many film and television projects. Film credits include, The Howling, Dick Tracy, Chaplin, Gattaca and most recently The Grinch. Television credits include, Star Trek- The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Alienation, L.A. Law, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She has been nominated for 7 Emmy Awards and has won 2, for Deep Space Nine and The Shining. Jill considers herself a “well rounded make up artist”, that can do beauty, glamour, character and prosthetic work equally.

Sheryl Leigh Ptak
Ms. Ptak is a graduate from the second Joe Blasco Make-up Center class and is a multiple Emmy nominee and a Cable Ace Award winner.
As Jim Carrey’s personal Make-up artist, she worked on Ace Ventura 1 & 2, Dumb and Dumber, Cable Guy, The Mask, Liar, Liar, The Truman Show and Me, Myself and Irene. Her other credits include Batman Forever, and TV’s In Living Color.
She worked as department head on Shelly Duvall’s Showtime projects for six years, including Faerie Tale Theater, Tall Tales and Legends, and Nightmare Classics. Currently, she is the department head for the Damon Show on the Fox Network.

Justin Raleigh:
Mr. Raleigh, who trained under Joe Blasco, is proficient in all areas of make-up. His film credits include: Alien Vs. Predator, Scooby Doo 2, Big Fish, Dream Catcher, Creature Features, The Time Machine, Ali, Zoolander, A.I., Jurassic Park III, Pearl Harbor, Spiderman, Bedazzled, Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps, The Hollow Man and Castaway. He is affiliated with Stan Winston Studio, Inc. and Steve Johnson's Edge FX. He is also a skilled S.A.G. puppeteer with cable-controlled mechanisms, radio-controlled systems, rod puppet and in-suit performances.
