I. Prosthetic Design
16 hrs.

Prosthetic design rendering and mechanical effects
Psychological preparation of the subject for facial impression



II. Sculpturing Techniques
56 hrs.

Advanced sculpturing techniques on the positive cast
Sculpturing on isolated piece casts


III. Positive And Negative Molds
24 hrs.
Construction of a complete one-piece head (bust) impression
Construction of a full head positive cast
Construction of full arm and feet positive and negative molds
Duplicator casts from positive molds
Isolated casts from duplicator molds (piece casts)

Finishing and refining the positive cast surface
Negative molds of a sculpture

Techniques of cleaning clay from negative and positive casts
Taking dental impressions and creating dental positives
Working with acrylic dental materials

IV. Foaming Techniques
16 hrs.

Familiarization with foam latex compound
Preparation of cast for foaming
Introducing foam rubber into molds
Mold and foam curing
Techniques to strip appliance from a mold

V. Coloring Techniques and Demo of Gelatin and Silicone Pieces
32 hrs.

Intrinsic color techniques
Extrinsic color techniques

Demonstration of gelatin and silicone pieces


VI. Application Of Prosthetic Pieces
8 hrs.

Application of the appliance to the skin
Manufacture and application of sub-appliance bladders
(for    swelling effects)
Fastening lace hair pieces to foam rubber appliances
