Images 1-4, This 25 year old foam latex prosthetic appliance was designed, sculpted and applied by World Famous Makeup Artist, Joe Blasco, for "The Werewolf of Woodstock".

The foam itself had become quite brittle to touch and was in need of restoration. Mr. Blasco chose professional make-up artist Larry Bones to tackle this challenge.

Images 5-7, After all the old crepe wool had been removed from the appliance, caster oil was applied to the foam to recondition it so that it could be applied to a generic foam and latex head without damaging it.

The forehead and upper snout is seen applied here. A mixture of Pro-aide and Cabosil was used to begin the patching process. The mixture was used to resculpt missing parts of the appliance and to blend off the edges onto the head form.
