New Year's Makeovers

Prior to applying a base, a yellow highlight was used under the eyes. Finding a foundation for this model's skin was a challenge since many were too pink or orange. A warm olive foundation was custom blended to match and enhance her skin. The foundation was applied thinly so it would be undetectable. A natural cream cheek color was applied directly onto the face prior to powdering. Taupe eye shadow and an ultramatte brown cream shadow were used to deepen the eyelid depression and to diminish the soft tissue in the area. Black eyeliner and black eyebrow pencil added definition. A coral lip color was finished with a pearl lip gloss. The look was completed with a dry cheek blush, a light olive loose face powder and medium finish pressed powder.
