Professional Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures Training Fees

By attending training sessions, a trainee incurs a legal obligation to pay all fees. Withdrawals are subject to the published refund schedule (see Refund Policy).

1. Fees

The Center’s fees are presented below.

The Attendance Fee is due and payable upon completion of the acceptance agreement.  The certificate fee is charged to trainees who request additional copies of their official Joe Blasco diploma/certificate.  Each trainee is entitled to one copy of their official Joe Blasco diploma/ certificate after completion of their training session. The insufficient funds fee is charged for financial instruments that are returned unpaid owing to a lack of funds in a banking institution account or for a closed account.

All prices for sessions are printed herein. There are no carrying charges, interest charges, or service charges connected or charged with any of these sessions. Contracts are not sold to a third party at any time. Cost of credit is included in the cost for the goods and services.

3. Session Make-up Kit Material Cost

All material charges listed below are mandatory. Due to clearly recognized health and sanitary reasons, the trainee cannot return the materials and tools after receipt. Trainees will receive their supplies on the third day of the H.D Professional Masters 1 Key Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures, H.D Professional Masters 2 Department Head Make-up Artistry  Materials Procedures , H.D Professional Journeyman Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures and H.D Professional Commercial Beauty Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures sessions  and on the first day of other sessions. At that point, the Center will not accept the return of any portion of the supplies.

The supplies are necessary for required sessions and work assignments. It is anticipated that the supplies will cover all necessary materials for assigned projects. Supplies and material prices may be subject to change. Trainees will be advised prior to registration of current prices. The total charges for a period of attendance are equal to the total charges of the training session. Additional materials for customized sessions may be viewed and purchased at; www.megamakeupstore.com. Customized professional make-up kits raging from basic to extremely advanced are available in addition to listed and required session make-up kits. Custom wooden, fiber, aluminum, and plastic empty make-up cases are available if desired. For obvious reasons of sanitation and sterilization the trainee is not permitted to use personal make-up materials, tools or cases that have not been specifically provided in sanitary and unused condition by Joe Blasco Cosmetics, Inc.

The above books are mandatory.  Volume I is mandatory for the H.D Professional Master I
Key Makeup Artistry Materials Procedures Training (key pro-case kit), H.D Professional Masters II Department Head Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures Training (D.H pro-case kit), H.D Professional Journeyman Make-up Materials Procedures Training (journeyman pro-case kit) and H.D Commercial Beauty Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures Training (commercial pro-case kit). Volume II is mandatory for the H.D Professional Journeyman Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures Training (journeyman pro-case kit), H.D Professional Masters I Key Make-up Artistry Materials Procedures (key pro-case kit) and H.D Professional Masters 2 Department Head Makeup Artistry Materials Procedures (D.H pro-case kit). Volume III is mandatory for H.D Professional Lab- Persons Prosthetics Laboratory Materials Procedures Training.

Supply and material costs include applicable Florida and California State and Local taxes.

4. Total Session Cost

The following is a list of the sessions and the total cost (including materials) for each. The total charges for a period of attendance are equal to the total charges of the training session.

5. Fee Payment Schedule

A $100 Attendance fee is due at the time of signing the Acceptance Agreement. The $100 fee is non-refundable.

Trainees not utilizing VA benefits or Vocational Rehabilitation benefits may use the following options to cover the cost of their session:

  1. Self Payment
  2. Sallie Mae Smart Option Student Loan

 

Self Payment may be made directly with the center or by setting up a private loan through the trainee’s personal bank or credit union. All arrangement for a loan must be done independently by the trainee. Payment may be made in one lump sum or broken down into installments. The final installment must be made three weeks prior to the session end date.

The Sallie Mae loan Smart Option Student Loan is applied for online by the trainee. Trainees may request up to $6,000.00 in addition to the cost of the session, for living expenses, when applying for a loan. The Centers do not make any guarantees that financial assistance will be obtainable by every applicant as loan availability is dependent on the trainee’s credit. The trainee must repay any loans to the lending institution.

International trainees are required to pay 50% of their full program cost prior to receiving their I-20 documentation. The remaining balance is due at least two weeks prior to the program start date.

If the trainee fails to pay any of the amounts due the Center when they are due, the trainee will also pay the Center for all cost and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees that are incurred by the Center in collection of these amounts. If an account is referred for collection to an agency that is subject to the Fair Debt Collections Act, the trainee will pay that collection cost which does not exceed 25 percent of the unpaid amount.

If a loan is obtained to finance the trainee’s training, the trainee is responsible to repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount of any refund.

6. Period of Obligation

The period of obligation for a Joe Blasco diploma session shall be the session length. All fees are due and payable on the first day of the period of obligation. Regardless of the trainee’s funding source, all fees must be paid in full 21 business days before session completion (i.e. the end of the period of obligation) unless arrangements have been made in advance with the Director’s office.  The Center hereby reserves the right to change, without notice, the session training, fees and training requirements stated herein. Currently enrolled trainees shall not be affected. The center reserves the right to withhold a grade report or a Joe Blasco diploma until all training and financial requirements for the session have been met.  Failure or withdrawal from a session does not give the trainee the right to repeat the session without additional charges. Trainees who voluntarily withdraw from or who are terminated by the center after starting training are obligated to the Center for session training and other fees in accordance with the Centers refund policy.
